December Challenge
A New Year, A New You!
It’s the last month of 2020, and we are challenging you to reflect on positive changes you can make in 2021.
-
Do you have anchors or sails in your life?
The people in our lives are either anchors or sails. Anchors hold us back and weigh us down, and sails empower us to move forward. Let’s surround ourselves with positive people who lift your spirits in 2021.
-
Will you prioritize beauty sleep in 2021?
Are you getting enough beauty sleep? The average adult needs around 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night, and teenagers need even more. Sleep plays a vital role in our mental and physical health.
-
Bite off more than you can chew?
It’s easy to take on more than we can handle. But if we aren’t careful, it will leave us stressed and exhausted. Let’s make 2021 all about balance, it’s okay to say “no” sometimes.
-
Are you staying active?
Exercise releases endorphins, but idleness leads to over-analyzing and overthinking. Exercise has many health benefits like making you feel happier, increasing your energy levels, keeping your skin beautiful, being good for your bones and muscles, and helping with weight loss.
-
Do you feel thankful?
Keep a gratitude journal. Jot down what you’re thankful for every day instead of worrying about what you don’t have. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.
Cheers to new beginnings!
Happy New Year from all of us at Pregnancy Center East. We hope this year is the best yet!
